Email from Spark

On this page

Spark emails you about your account and the projects you manage. Choose which of those emails you get in Account settings → Notifications. The choices there apply to every project.

Emails you can turn off

Project alerts tell you when a project you manage needs attention: a paused task, paused marketing email, paused email to your lists, a quota close to its limit or at it, or a backend returning errors. Each alert also appears in that project’s Health settings, so turning the emails off doesn’t hide anything. Use the Project alerts switch.

Some emails belong to a topic, like tips for getting started after you sign up. Each has an Unsubscribe link at the bottom that works without signing in, and a switch for its topic in Notifications. Unsubscribing from a link only turns email off. To turn a topic back on, sign in and use its switch.

Emails you always get

Emails about your account and billing always arrive, whatever Notifications says. These include sign-in codes, invoices, failed payments, credit warnings, and notices that your site went offline.

If emails stopped arriving

If you marked an email from Spark as spam, Spark stops sending you emails you can unsubscribe from. Notifications then shows Resume email, which turns them back on.

If email to your address bounced, Notifications says so. Contact Spark support once your mailbox works again, and we’ll start sending again.
