Build credits power Spark while you create and make changes to your apps and tools. App credits power AI in your published apps when customers use them.

You can top up credits anytime. Purchased credits never expire, and Spark always uses your monthly credits first.

If you run out of Build credits, your published apps keep working, but you won’t be able to make changes. If you run out of App credits, AI in your published apps will stop responding until you add more.

Spark charges a 10% fee on the Starter plan and a 5% fee on the Pro plan when you make a sale. This is separate from Stripe’s payment processing fees.

Yes. Your Build and App credits are shared across all the projects in your Spark account.

Yes, you can change plans at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, with a prorated charge for the time left in your billing period. Once payment succeeds, your App and Build credits increase by a prorated amount. Your billing date stays the same.

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Your monthly credit allowance and fee on sales change with your plan.

Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. After that, your organization moves to the Free plan. Your sites stay published at their spark.site addresses with a Built with Spark badge, but payments are disabled and custom domains stop working. Spark pauses customer subscriptions, and customers keep access to what they paid for.

Your projects are saved. Starting a paid plan again turns payments and your domains back on, and paused subscriptions bill again at their next renewal. You’ll get a final bill for any fees on sales from your last billing period. Learn what happens when your plan ends.
