What does it cost?
Nothing to start, and you can publish on Spark's free plan at a spark.site address. Taking payments and using your own domain need a paid plan, from $25 a month. See pricing.
Is it explicit?
No. It is adult romance, for readers 18 and over, in the register of published romantasy, with no explicit content. Readers choose a Heat setting, and you decide how far each character and story may go.
How does it check that readers are adults?
Visitors pass an 18+ gate, and readers give a date of birth before their first chat. This is self-attestation. If you need ID checks, that takes an extra service you would connect.
Do I write the characters myself?
The template comes with four, and their stories. Rewrite them in Characters & Lore, or ask Spark for a whole new cast.
Do I get the original's readers or domain?
No, those stay with the original business, and you choose your own address.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Ask for changes in plain words.
